            R410A is a nearazeotropic HFC refrigerant blend that meets the industry’s needs for many new air conditioning systems. R410A has received an A1 safety rating from ASHRAE (lowest levels of toxicity and flammability) having zero ozone depletion potential. 

 

           R410A is a higher pressure and capacity refrigerant than R22, requiring equipment and components specifically designed to accommodate the resulting higher system pressures and lower flow rates needed. Typical operating pressures of an R410A system will be 50% to 60% higher than those in an R22 system at comparable operating conditions. R410A also has significantly higher volumetric refrigerating capacity than R22 under most operating conditions. This allows OEMs to manufacture equipment of similar capacity and efficiency to R-22 in a smaller package.

  

Application:

The product is used as refrigerant in household, industrial andcommercial air-conditioning system. It can also be used as aerosolpropellant for pesticide and paint, or fire extinguishing agent. Itis the primary feedstock for Fluoropolymers.

 

Physical & chemical properties:

 Under normal temperature and pressure, the product is acolorless, odorless and nontoxic gas. Its melting point is -160°C,its boiling point is -26.1°C. Its density is 1.213g/cm3 at 20°C.Its mixture with air is nonflammable and free of explosion risk. Itshows good thermal and chemical stability under normalconditions.

 

Storage & transportation:

The product is packed in appropriate cylinders of tanks (or tankcars). It is to keep in cool and dry place, without being exposedto heat source, sunlight and raining. It is to comply with theregulations of railway and road transportation of China concerninghazardous cargo.
